NAMES OF GOD IN ISLAM AND HINDUSIM


Say: "Call upon Allah, or call upon Rahman: by whatever name ye call upon Him, (it is well): for to Him belong the Most Beautiful Names. Neither speak thy Prayer aloud, nor speak
  it in a low tone, but seek a middle course between."
[Al-Qur’an Ch 17 Verse 110]

Allah says you can call upon him by any name but it’s should be beautiful name it’s should be not be
Conjure up a mental picture.

And there are no less than 99 different attributes given of Allah Subhana Wa Taala, in the Holy Qu’ran - No less than 99 different attributes of Allah Subhana Wa Taala are given in the Holy Qur’an.
For example ‘Ar-Rahmaan’, ‘Ar-Raheem’, ‘Al-Karrem’,
‘Most Gracious’, ‘Most Merciful’, ‘Most Benevolent’.
He is called as ‘Rabb’, as ‘Raziq’, as ‘Lord’, ‘Cherisher’, ‘Sustainer’, ‘Provider’ .


THE CROWN ONE ALLAH

“The most beautiful names belong to Allah: so call on him by them; but shun such men as use profanity in his names: for what they do, they will soon be requited.”
[Al-Qur’an Ch 7 Verse 180]


: He is Allah, the Creator, the Evolver, the Bestower of Forms (or Colours). To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names: whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare His Praises and Glory: and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
[Al-Qur’an Ch 59 Verse 24]


Allah is Very Unique Word . Name of “Allah” has
No Plural
No Antonym
No Masculine &
No Faminine.
Because “ Allah “ is one but Khuda(in urdu), Bhagwan ,devt, lord etc has their plurals, antonym, Masculines & Feminies for example :
God=Gods, Goddess, Godfather , Godmother etc..
Khuda=Khudaon
Devta=Devtaoo, devi(Female)
Lord=Lords(plural)
But ALLAH is one and only(Alone)

NAMES OF GOD IN HINDUSIM

It is mentioned in Rig-Veda:
“Sages (learned Priest) call one God by many names”

“They have styled (Him, God or the sun) indra (the resplendent), mitra (the surveyor), varuna (the venerable), agni (the adorable), and he is the celestial, well-winged garutmat (the great), for learned priests call one by many names as they speak of the adorable as yama (ordainer) and matarisvan (cosmic breath)”
[It is mentioned in Rig-Veda Book no.1, Hymn no.164 Verse 46]

[Same message repeated in Rig-Veda Book no. 10 Hymn no. 114 mantra (Verse) 5]

“Ya eka ittamushtuhi”
“Praize Him who is the matchless and alone.”
[It is mentioned in Rig-Veda, Book No VI, Hymn 45, Verse 16]


Rig-Veda Alone not less than 33 different attributes given to Almighty God

1) “VISHNU” in English: Sustainer, provider. In Arabic: Same what “Rabb”

2) “BHARMA” in English: Creator. In Arabic: “Khaliq”

NAME OF ALLAH IN THE VEDAS

Even in the Rigveda which is the most sacred scripture of the Hindus, one of the attributes given to God Almighty in Book no 2 Hymn no I verse II, is ‘Ila’ which if pronounced properly is the same as Allah.
