If a girl loves a boy from a far, has she committed a sin?.
Praise be to Allaah.
Islam came to close the doors that lead to evil and sin, and is keen to block all the means that may lead to corruption of hearts and minds. Love and infatuation between the sexes are among the worst of problems.
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in Majmoo’ al-Fataawa (10/129):
Love is a psychological sickness, and if it grows strong it affects the body, and becomes a physical sickness, either as diseases of the brain, which are said to be diseases caused by waswaas, or diseases of the body such as weakness, emaciation and so on.
And he (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in Majmoo’ al-Fataawa (10/132):
Loving a non-mahram woman leads to many negative consequences, the full extent of which is known only to the Lord of people. It is a sickness that affects the religious commitment of the sufferer, then it may also affect his mind and body. End quote.
It is sufficient to note that one of the effects of love of a member of the opposite sex is enslavement of the heart which is held captive to the loved one. So love is a door that leads to humiliation and servility. That is sufficient to put one off this sickness.
Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in Majmoo’ al-Fataawa (10/185):
If a man is in love with a woman, even if she is permissible for him, his heart remains enslaved to her, and she can control him as she wishes, even though outwardly he appears to be her master, because he is her husband; but in fact he is her prisoner and slave, especially if she is aware of his need and love for her. In that case, she will control him like a harsh and oppressive master controls his abject slave who cannot free himself from him. Rather he is worse off than that, because enslavement of the heart is worse than enslavement of the body. .
Attachment to the opposite sex will not happen to a heart that is filled with love of Allaah; it only affects a heart that is empty and weak, so it is able to gain control of it, then when it becomes strong and powerful it is able to defeat the love of Allaah and lead the person into shirk. Hence it is said: Love is the action of an empty heart.
If the heart is devoid of the love and remembrance of the Most Merciful, and is a stranger to speaking to Him, it will be filled with love of women, images and listening to music.
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in Majmoo’ al-Fataawa (10/135):
If the heart loves Allaah alone and is sincerely devoted to Him, it will not even think of loving anyone else in the first place, let alone falling in love. When a heart falls in love, that is due to the lack of love for Allaah alone. Hence because Yoosuf loved Allaah and was sincerely devoted to Him, he did not fall into the trap of love, rather Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Thus it was, that We might turn away from him evil and illegal sexual intercourse. Surely, he was one of Our chosen, (guided) slaves”
[Yoosuf 12:24]
As for the wife of al-‘Azeez, she was a mushrik as were her people, hence she fell into this trap. End quote.
The Muslim must save himself from this fate and not fall short in guarding against it and ridding himself of it. If he falls short in that regard and follows the path of love, by continuing to steal haraam glances or listening to haraam things, and being careless in the way he speaks to the opposite sex, etc, then he is affected by love as a result, then he is sinning and will be subject to punishment for his actions.
How many people have been careless at the beginning of this problem, and thought that they were able to rid themselves of it whenever they wanted, or that they could stop at a certain limit and not go any further, until the sickness took a strong hold and no doctor or remedy could help?
Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in Rawdat al-Muhibbeen (147):
If the cause happens by his choice, he has no excuse for the consequences that are beyond his control, but if the reason is haraam, the drunkard had no excuse. Undoubtedly following one glance with another and allowing oneself to keep thinking about the person is like drinking intoxicants: he is to be blamed for the cause. End quote.
If a person strives to keep away from the things that lead to this serious sickness, by lowering his gaze and not looking at haraam things, not listening to haraam things, and averting the passing thoughts that the shaytaan casts into his mind, then after that something of the evils of this sickness befalls him because of a passing glance or a transaction that is basically permissible, and his heart becomes attached to a woman, there is no sin on him for that in sha Allaah, because Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Allaah burdens not a person beyond his scope”
[al-Baqarah 2:286]
Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in Majmoo’ al-Fataawa (11/10):
If that does not result from carelessness or transgression on his part, then there is no sin on him for what befalls him.
Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in Rawdat al-Muhibbeen (147):
If love occurs for a reason that is not haraam, the person is not to be blamed, such as one who loved his wife or slave woman, then he separated from her but the love remained and did not leave him. He is not to be blamed for that. Similarly if there was a sudden glance then he averted his gaze, but love took hold of his heart without him meaning it to, he must, however, ward it off and resist it.
But he must treat his heart by putting a stop to the effects of this love, and by filling his heart with love of Allaah and seeking His help in that. He should not feel too shy to consult intelligent and trustworthy people for advice or consult some doctors and psychologists, because he may find some remedy with them. In doing that he must be patient, seek reward, remain chaste and keep quiet, and Allaah will decree reward for him in sha Allaah.
Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in Majmoo’ al-Fataawa (10/133):
If he is tested with love but he remains chaste and is patient, then he will be rewarded for fearing Allaah. It is known from shar’i evidence that if a person remains chaste and avoids haraam things in looking, word and deeds, and he keeps quiet about it and does not speak of it, so that there will be haraam talk about that, whether by complaining to another person or committing evil openly, or pursuing the beloved one in any way, and he is patient in obeying Allaah and avoiding sin, despite the pain of love that he feels in his heart, just as one who is afflicted with a calamity bears the pain of it with patience, then he will be one of those who fear Allaah and are patient, “Verily, he who fears Allaah with obedience to Him (by abstaining from sins and evil deeds, and by performing righteous good deeds), and is patient, then surely, Allaah makes not the reward of the Muhsinoon (good doers) to be lost” [Yoosuf 12:90].

LOVING EACH OTHER FOR THE SAKE OF ALLAH .....؛..
Love is among the most exalted of human feelings. When this love revolves around Almighty ALLAH and forms the basis for our interpersonal relationships, many problems can be weathered and great fruits can be harvested for both the individual and society as a whole. The Qur’an and Sunnah often speak about the noble status of those whom ALLAH graces to possess such love. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said,
“Among ALLAH’s servants are people who are neither prophets nor martyrs, but whom the prophets and martyrs will deem fortunate because of their high status with ALLAH.” The Companions asked, “O Messenger of ALLAH! Inform us of who they are.” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) told them that they are people who loved each other for ALLAH’s sake, even without being related to one another or being tied to one another by the exchange of wealth. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went on to describe their great reward on the Day of Resurrection: “By ALLAH, their faces will be luminous and they will be upon light. They will feel no fear when the people will be feeling fear, and they will feel no grief when the people will be grieving.” Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) read the verse: [Behold! Verily on the friends of ALLAH there is no fear, nor shall they grieve] (Yunus 10:62). (Abu Dawud)
Love for ALLAH’s sake transcends the limits of our worldly existence, enduring into the life to come. ALLAH says,
[Close friends on that Day will be foes to one another—except for the righteous.] (Az-Zukhruf 43:67)
Loving one another for the sake of ALLAH, and brotherhood in faith, are among the most excellent acts of worship. This sublime love entails some conditions and duties that must be fulfilled so that the relationship remains pure and free of base undercurrents. Upholding these duties brings a servant nearer to ALLAH and to His pleasure and, over time, it can bring about a greater nobility of person.
The Messenger of ALLAH (peace and blessings of ALLAH be upon him) said:
"ALLAH will say on the Day of Resurrection:
'Where are those who love one another through My glory? Today I shall give them shade in My shade, it being a day when there is no shade but My shade.'"
[Bukhari.]
"ALLAH will say on the Day of Resurrection:
'Where are those who love one another through My glory? Today I shall give them shade in My shade, it being a day when there is no shade but My shade.'"
[Bukhari.]
A man was sitting with our Holy Prophet when another one passed. The sitting one said,"O Messenger of ALLAH! I love this man."The Prophet said,"Have you told him?"The man said,"No."The Prophet said,"Tell him!"The man rose to his feet and went to the man who was passing by and said,"I love you for the sake of ALLAH."He said,"May ALLAH for whose sake you love me, love you in return!"
ALLAH (subhanahu wa ta`ala) gives to those who love one another for His sake a gift which is even greater than this status and blessing: that is His precious love which is very difficult to attain.
When you love someone for the sake of ALLAH, you want the best for them. It might not be what they exactly want,
but it’s what they exactly need because you want to enter paradise together.
but it’s what they exactly need because you want to enter paradise together.

Lame excuse of a muslimah to keep her photos on facebook
When a Muslimah hears that it is Haram to put her personal picture on Facebook, she gives this argument:"but this is me; this is the face people see when I go out to the street. So what is the difference if people see my face on Facebook or in the street?"
This is the answer for that: First of all, when you put your picture as a profile pic on Facebook you are causing Fitnah to your brothers in Islam because you don’t help them to lower their gaze even if you are wearing your Hijab in that picture.
In the street you suppose to lower your gaze as they (Muslim men) are suppose to lower theirs. But on internet, it’s different! Because any boy would feel that he is free to look to your picture as he wants, the moment he wants because you are showing it to the whole world, So sister, How can you let any stranger's glances travel over your face, eyes, lips, etc...? how can you let his eyes eating your body like that?
Any Boy on Facebook would think it is his right to look to the picture you are displaying in front of him forgetting that Allah is watching him. He is disobeying Allah of.course, but think; who led him to this disobedience?
Second, generally, people in the street can't take picture of you whenever you go out but on Facebook strangers men can easily
upload your picture and keep it for them without you know about it. Think about it, they can use it in creating false Facebook profiles or use them in'dating sites'or any other social site, or worse, they can even edit it and spread it on net just for fun. This is something which happened to many many poor Muslim girls, so what if it happened to you too? Keeping your picture on Facebook even after knowing that this may happen to you, makes you guilty just as the person who may upload it.
Third, think how many sins you will have for everyman who will look at you and admire your beauty? Are you ready to handle carrying all thesesins? Think about every Muslim girl who will be impressed by the way you’re displaying your picture so she does the same thinking it is OK to do it. Are you ready to hold the burden of sins of these girls?
"Whoever starts (or sets an example of) something evil in Islam, will bear the burden for that, and a burden equal to that of everyone who does it after him, without that detracting from their burden in the slightest."[Mus lim]
please sisters! Think twice before putting your personal picture on Facebook. Don’t say “I will remove it one day” because you don’t know if you will live till that day. Not"if"but"When "that day will come, you will leave behind you sayyah Jaryah (continuous bad deed). So are you sure you can handle all these sins while you are in your grave?
STAY AWAY FROM THE THINGS THAT WILL ONLY HINDER YOU FROM GROWING IN THE DEEN & THE REMEMBRANCE OF ALLAH
May ALLAH forgive us all. amiin yaRabbal'alaamiin

No Boyfriends!
As a Muslim, you know that having a boyfriend is haraam because it counts as Zina - fornication. Fornication, in easy English, means `sexual sin'. Allah expressly forbids romantic or sexual relationships outside of marriage. When people go against that rule, then you get the typical western society where people play sexual merry-go-round with each other, giving each other STDs, using and abusing each other, and destroying the sacredness of marriage as an institution. You can't even be sort of engaged to a guy, and then "date" to get to know each other. In Islam, non-Mahram men and women aren't allowed to be alone together (that includes talking o*!n the phone!), to touch (not even shake hands), or even gaze at each other. It doesn't matter if the guy you like is Muslim, a great guy and the Prince of England, you can't date him.
No Boy—friends!
The easiest way to ensure that you don't end up falling in love with some guy before you
're ready to get married is to avoid making friends with boys. Of course in school you have to interact with boys all over the place, but that doesn't mean you should be best buds with them. Probably 90% of relationships begin from friendships. Chances are you're not ready for marriage, your parents aren't ready to let you get married, you're still in school/college and your crush is not the sort of fellow you want to spend the rest of your life with, so just avoid being friends with him in the first place. It really is the best formula for saving yourself from needless temptation. When you have to talk to boys in school as teammates, lab partners, group members, and peers, it's best to maintain a distance. That means that you don't confide in them, you don't let down your guard, you don't unnecessarily engage them in needless conversation, don't joke around, and never flirt. Yeah it may be a little hard, but this is your afterlife we're talking about. So many great sisters have put themselves in really sticky situations because they allowed a boy to get to know them, and either ended up liking the boy, or having the boy like them. o*!nce that happens you either end up becoming a pair (which is HARAAM!), or having to end your friendship. Instead of letting it get to that point, and then having to kill a friendship that you probably worked hard o*!n cultivating, you should just stop it before it begins. There are plenty of great girls all around who can be your friends and if you really think o*!nly a guy will understand your problem, then talk to your REAL brother, or your father, or an uncle.
TEN THOUGHTS TO PONDER
1) Remember that your Lord forgives those who ask Him for forgiveness and He accepts the repentance of those who repent and He accepts those who come back to Him.
2) Show mercy to the weak and you'll be happy, give ...to the needy and you'll be well, do not bear grudges and you will be healthy.
3) Be optimistic, for Allah is with you. He is listening to you and the Paradise awaits you (In sha Allah)
4) Wipe away your tears, think well of your Lord and chase away your worries by remembering the blessings that Allah has bestowed upon you.
5) Do not think that this world is ever perfect for anyone. There is no one on the face of the earth who gets all that he wants or is free from all kinds of distress.
6) Be like a tall tree with high aims, if a stone is thrown at it, it simply lets its fruit drop.
7) Have you ever heard that grief brings back what has been lost, or that worry corrects mistake? So why grieve and worry then?
8) Do not expect trials and calamities, rather expect peace, safety and good health (In sha Allah).
9) Extinguish the flames of hatred from your heart by forgiving everyone who has ever hurt you.
10) Ghusl, wudhu and siwak and being calm and organised are effective medicines for all kinds of distress and worry.
